Product Manager

What is your role here at Sysco LABS? 

I’ve joined Sysco LABS as a Product Manager focused on the Sysco Shop platform.

Who / What is your greatest inspiration, and how does this drive your work? 

My greatest inspirations are my gurus Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj. Their credo ‘in the joy of others, lies our own’ sets the tone for me every day and especially as a Product Manager. It drives me to be customer obsessed and use empathy for them to fiercely prioritize everything I work on. If we can bring joy to our customers, that will translate into success for us as a team and company.

What are some of your unique strengths that make you good at what you do?

I’ve always been comfortable with numbers and that’s helped me make decisions and set priorities based on data. Being driven by data is powerful because it lets you know what you should be working on and whether you’re making an impact on the end user.

What are some of your goals?  How is being part of the Sysco LABS team helping you reach those goals? 

My ultimate goal in any position I take in my career is to be in a position where I’m helping customers achieve their goals using technology. Sysco LABS tackles the complex food service industry problems with technology and that’s the exact environment I want to be a part of.

What are some of the best experiences you have had  in your role here? 

I joined Sysco LABS relatively recently and the one thing I’ve experienced is that the people I work with have been really great. Everyone has a vested interested in seeing you succeed and that’s been very helpful as I ramp up in my role.

What are you happiest doing  in your free time?

On my free time I’m either looking up recipes online to try out, catching up on the latest NBA news or debating whether Hogwarts is a real place or not (I’m 64% sure it is).
