Creative Lead

What is your role here at Sysco LABS? 

I joined Sysco LABS in December of 2020 as a Creative Lead. I'm working on driving innovation, branding and marketing for LABS' products.

Who / What is your greatest inspiration, and how does this drive your work? 

My grandfather and my father are huge inspirations for my drive at work. They instilled a strong work ethic and the value of hard work during my first job cleaning up oil spills.  

What are some of your unique strengths that make you good at what you do?

I am a creative problem solver and have a love of food. Working with chefs in and out of restaurants for over a decade has given me a great understanding of how kitchens operate. I'm excited to turn that knowledge into creative solutions.

What are some of your goals?  How is being part of the Sysco LABS team helping you reach those goals? 

I love the food industry and LABS is giving me the opportunity to see another side of foodservice. I'm excited to continue learning and helping restaurants succeed.

What are some of the best experiences you have had  in your role here? 

Starting during the pandemic was never going to be easy but everyone has been so welcoming. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with teams across LABS and corporate.

What are you happiest doing  in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy camping with my husband and gardening. You'll usually find us playing with our schnoodle, Raad, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.
